4YOUth
A foundation created in Poland by social activists, social workers and volunteers collaborating with local public institutions like cultural centres, schools and refugee centres. Through running diverse cultural activities and events (cinemaforums, concerts, workshops, integrating/intercultural meetings, juggling shows etc.) we promote intercultural dialogue, active participation of youth in local social life and sustainable living. By bringing international atmosphere in our hometown, we want to change our local environment for a more friendly, interesting and tolerant one – full of youth initiatives and devoid of prejudices. By gaining diverse experience in the world of volunteering, participating in a number of international youth projects and sustaining the cooperation between young people and local governments we support youth civic initiatives in our region. At the same time we search for cooperation with other foreign groups of young people realizing and taking part in European mobility programmes, in order to develop an international network of cooperation between nongovernmental organizations that aim at activating young people and increasing their participation in decision-making processes.
